Advanced Amateur Radio Licensing Course

The course will consist of a 4 week self study period (with instructor support) and a 6 hour class the Saturday prior to the exam. The next day, Sunday, the exam will be written at 1:00 PM .

1. Advanced Theory
2. Advanced Components and Circuits
3. Measurements
4. Power Supplies

5. Transmitters, Modulation and Processing
6. Receivers
7. Feedlines - Matching and Antenna Systems

Course Includes:

Presentation of ISED (formerly Industry Canada) licensing requirements
Equipment and operation demonstrations 
Course notes and study aids (purchase of text book is optional)
Exam writing and grading by examiner
One year complementary membership in AARESS


Obtain the study materials a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the exam.
The course fee of $50 can be paid and materials picked any Tuesday evening during our regular meetings (7 - 8:30 PM) at the Old Fire Hall #3, 28465 Fraser Highway Abbotsford, BC. 
The optional Coax Publications Advanced Guide can be purchased for $50.
